I was born and raised in southern Scotland and now live with my family in Germany's Black Forest.

For me, becoming an artist came later life.

In 2016 I embraced my true passion, the exploration of full-time artmaking.

Creating abstract artworks is at every moment a dialogue between intention and spontaneity.

I strive to create in each of my paintings an immediate, evocative presence, while also rewarding sustained looking.
