Shapes of Presence VI.

A painting in the SHAPES OF PRESENCE series. Ink, acrylic, paper on cradled wood panel. 30 x 25 x 3 cm. 

Each painting in my SHAPES OF PRESENCE series is a step forward in a direction which is not defined, not pre-planned. I consider the series to be an investigation, an experimentation of how the elements interact and create a synergy within my overall intention. My intention here is to create a tension between the green curving ground shape, and the somewhat more energised indigo/carmine red forms together with the quieter overall field of color. The resulting finished, unified painting then earns the name or title Shapes of Presence VI.
