Shapes of Presence III.
A painting in the SHAPES OF PRESENCE series. Ink, Acrylic, Gesso on Gallery Canvas. 100 x 70 x 2 cm.
Each of the paintings in the series SHAPES OF PRESENCE has a striking interplay of simple shapes in combination with an apparent emptiness. The slightly textured emptiness is intentional and of itself enhances the potency of the strong, aesthetic shapes. Perhaps the overall appeal and strength of this series lies in the minimalistic, reductive approach. This is my intention.
