Not all of my abstract works have titles. Sometimes, I let some of my paintings remain untitled. Maybe I should use the term “Open-Ended” instead. As an artist, my intention is to provide you the viewer with a visual experience, which in turn can become a dialogue between you and a painting, which may deepen with time. The title of a painting influences its appeal. And maybe “Untitled” is for some specific paintings appropriate, leaving the viewer complete freedom.
